I have had many positive experiences while living at Prime Place and even when we had a problem, the excellent maintenance and leasing team have solved them. My favorite part about Prime has been the Prime Life events, David is awesome and the events are always great!

Now that I’ve lived here for a year and am about to move, let me share my experience. I lived in the 1 bedroom apartment at Hester. A3 was the floor plan, I believe. Mine faced the pool area. Pros: -Living alone was great. No roommates to deal with and my apartment was kept how I wanted to keep it. This was a huge plus. -Proximity to campus is an obvious plus. -Living room was a great size. -Bedroom was a good size as well. -Furniture was nice to have(although mine was worn due to a cat clawing on the couch and bar stools) Not a pro or con: noise level was okay but that’s to be expected considering it’s mostly students. Better noise control for the hallways would be nice. I didn’t hear people in other rooms but I only shared one wall with someone because I had a corner apartment as well. The other wall was shared with the hallway. Cons: -A huge con is the Hester building does not have an elevator. Unsure how because I’m 110% sure that’s against ADA. I’ve been sick multiple times and needed to take my dog outside. Living on the 3rd floor, it would’ve been great to have the elevator instead of walking up and down stairs. -Overall, the apartment could have more storage. There’s wasted space in the bathroom that could accommodate a bigger vanity and even a linen closet/cabinet on the opposite side of the vanity would be nice(that’s where I put the storage cabinet I bought). -No shelves under the kitchen sink or bathroom vanity. Which is partially why I had to buy my own storage cabinet -The green cap for utilities is basically useless for 1 beds. You’ll pay anywhere from $20-40 extra per month. Basically, you’re paying for the 3 and 4 bedroom’s utilities. In my experience, I never had to pay any extra for utilities when I lived in a 4 bedroom apartment. 1 person is responsible for all of the utilities that would be shared in a 3-4 bed apartment. I suggest the green cap be increased to $50 for 1 bedrooms. Currently, it’s $35. If all of the 1 bedrooms have similar overages, clearly the $35 green cap isn’t enough. -No gym at the Hester location. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Elm location which has a gym. I might as well just go to the Colvin if I have to walk/drive to the gym. - I drive a truck so the parking garage is a nightmare. I have scraped my mirror and taillight trying to pull in and out of spaces. There are only a few spaces that trucks can fit comfortably in and still allow other vehicles to park. -The parking garage spaces fill up quickly due to the parking garage being small. -The mattress provided is the cheapest mattress you could find so I bought a different one. -Not really the apartments fault, but I wish more people used the pool. -Community events are usually held at the main buildings on Elm. Overall, I give the apartment a 3/5 because the price was decent in comparison to other places near campus for a 1 bedroom(despite the green cap issues). My communication with management was good, even if it sometimes took a little time to get a response. My reasons for moving are: increasing rent by $100 and parking by $10 for next year, there’s no gym and no elevator. Without the price increase, I might have stayed. But I still think I would move because the cons outweigh the pros for me, especially considering my new apartment is slightly cheaper, has an elevator, a gym, is a newer building, still close to campus, and has a balcony. I will have 1 roommate, but I think the rest of the improvements potentially outweigh that.

-Thins walls cause hearing loud noise. Plus you can literally feels the wall and floor is vibrate when someone running in the hallway. - you will smell "weed" in hallway every time Not good place to study and sleep. If you are party person, maybe good

I cannot wait to move out this place, I’ve only lived here for just other a semester and so far we’ve had: 1. A drawer break 2. A stove with crooked burners 3. A warm shower maybe twice 4. An entire master closet shelf fall off the wall 5. One power outage 6. Three water shut offs 7. An entire package room swept of everything and stolen 8. Both mine and my roommates bikes have had parts and seats stolen 9. An elevator that won’t stop shaking and that’s after it was out for nearly two months 10. I was added to an insurance plan by mistake (I think it was on purpose) where I got charged $45 extra dollars on a plan I couldn’t get off of because I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR IT Those are just a list of the issues I’ve faced living hear and that doesn’t even account for the nasty flooring and smell along with the ridiculous overage fees you can’t avoid. Just to save money we had to turn off our entire unit and rely basically on blankets and jackets. If you’re looking to live here DON’T. There isn’t a day I don’t walk back from class and want to warn those poor freshman looking for a place to stay next semester.

I'm sorry for you've gone through. Wouldn't your best bet be to contact Prime Place main office/management to get their insights rather than posting something publicly something on here about possible larceny by another tenant? I'm sure you would get a quicker and better response taking to them directly than you'd get on Google maps review! Just saying...
