I am reading the reviews about noise after 10 and loud campers being chastised by the camphosts. I say hallelujah! We love coming to a campground where the rules are enforced. And dogs are required to be on leashes, respect for campers around you is the norm. Camphosts seem to go through a lot of hassle for little reward.

Very pretty spot. Nice distance between campspots. Will definitely return when we have more time!

The host is so friendly and helpful. Making reservations is almost mandatory these days. Popular campground. Lower numbers are double spots with a view of the lake. We had this double spot #4

Had ~25 people in one of the group sites for a family reunion. Plenty of space for tents and activities. We set up some extra tables for food prep and serving, but the 3 tables in the site would be sufficient for most outings. Lots of good trees for shade and hammocks (we had about 6 up). Nice to have flushing toilets and running water. There is a general store and small restaurant 2 minutes down the road.

On a leash and cleanup please. It's quite hard getting dog poop out of the tread of shoes.
Campfires yes. Swimming at the lake. Nothing in the campground.
Just left, brought my niece and nephew 2 and 4. Had a blast. Easy bathroom access and clean.
There are a few campsites that are first come, you can't reserve.I wouldn't roll the dice,I would reserve a spot.
There are several campsites all around the lake, some are by reservation others are first come first serve. The north and south campgrounds are all set up with fire pits and flat ground for tents. There are other areas all around the lake area as well.
On the payment envelope it gives you a cash or check option. No credit card.
No one in our camp did and we had 6 dogs
Panguitch lake resort offers clean hot shower s for $5
They randomly close the pump station, was closed two weeks ago.
No showers at campground but at cabins I'm sure there is.
Not sure Looked like there were some cabins to rent though
No hook ups that I saw. All dry camping. They do have rest rooms and a water spickit here and there. I saw quite a few toy haulers and 5th wheels. All that info is in the national park website when you google the PL North Campground.
We lost phone service on the road out of Cedar City. It was sketchy at first but the farther up we went elevation wise, it was completely out. I did see somebody walking the grounds talking on a phone but our ATT was out the whole time. Update, July 2019. If you go to the store across from the resort and sit in the chair by the Indian statue you can get service. It's weird but you have to actually be in the chair, not just standing nearby. We connected only to check the wind and weather forecast. Otherwise, put your phone on airplane mode to save battery and still be able to take pics, etc..
