I’ve been here several times and I freaking love this place! The hot chocolate here is the best I ever had, and there are so many different deserts to try, you can just never go wrong! Honestly I’d just come here for drinks and desert. They do have some pretty good entrees but my tiny self gets so full so fast that once I finish the entree I have no room for desert! I visited this place late on a weeknight. It was great that the place was still open. I grabbed a milkshake to go. It was a bit pricey and it wasn't the best milkshake I ever had. Still, a good place near Union Square to get late-night desserts. Additionally, this place is a larger sit-down restaurant for interested patrons.

What an amazing place, I still can't get over the chocolate chip waffles. We ended up going there with stomach full but were able to finish both the waffle and the tiramisu in no time just because how good it was. Although the tiramisu wasn't the best imo but the waffle hands down the best I had.

The closest thing they had to a chocolate fountain is the fondue which is melted chocolate in a cup and you just dip your fruit inside.

Place is cozy, you don't have to dress up to the nines.
The larger the party, the sooner you should call ahead and make a reservation. Although seating parties of 2 thru 8 is somewhat easily done, parties that are larger and need more adjacent restaurant real estate needs to be sorted out and sometimes extra waitstaff needs to be added to that days work shift. A reservation of that size would need at least a weeks time in advance, I could be wrong but, to play it safe, call immediately once you definitely know your party's size.
Breakfast is served Monday- Friday until 12pm. Brunch is until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday
Highly recommended that you make a reservation. The wait times can be long otherwise.

Yes, it's a very good place for birthdays. Be sure to make a reservation in advance and let them know it's a birthday celebration so that they can bring the nice sparkling candles with dessert!
Early during the day if you're going on weekends. Evenings are usually not so crowded Monday-Thursday. Make a reservation if you're planning to go after 5 PM. Rarely, you'll have to wait a bit even if you have a reservation.
