I love Le Pain however this location the staff is extremely rude. I have gone there multiple times and every time have a horrible experience with the staff so I’ve given up on going there all together. They come to take your order and seem annoyed that you’re there. Today I ordered a coffee, 5 mins after getting my coffee the waiter came and asked if everything was alright, I said yes and he then returned with the check. I hadn’t even been there for 10 mins and would have ordered food if I hadn’t already been given the check. Then I saw a woman who wanted to use Apple Pay and the waiter told her they couldn’t do it, when she said she always has paid with Apple Pay he simply walked away. The lady confused thought he was going to get a different machine that could do Apple Pay however he never came back. Horrible horrible service! I would never give them my money again!

Waitresses could be kinder and more patient.

Okay place to get a quick cup of coffee and a snack, but not much more.

Something happened to this place and it is not as good as it used to be. Very disappointing cold served food.

Yes, all of our restaurants have WiFi available to our guests.

is this a sit down restaurant with waiters? I walked in and was confused, so I walked out.

Yes, it is a sit down restaurant with waiters. There is a back room, enter straight back from the entrance. There also are self pickup food stool seating as you enter, that might have been the confusion. Also, depending on the time of day staff is low, so there probably wasn't anyone to seat you unfortunately, they were probably downstairs at the kitchen picking up an order, just my guess.

For the Pain Quotidien at 861 Lexinton Avenue at 65th Street, do you take reservations for lunch on a weekday?

Nope. I don't believe that any Le Pain's take ressies.
