this is really SAD! SAD! SAD!- this has being a family tradition for 32 years where we all go and enjoy the day - my kids grew up going here and they also have lead into taking their family and friends. BUT things have changed for the worse- it seems due to a family feud they separate the place into three separate areas, separation are done with metal fences and it really looks like a prison. you need to get back in your car to go to the other areas. As a tradition we would buy 2 cases of wine and open one, sit on a blanket as the kids and friends picked apples- Now you need to pay $5.00 to enter the area on top of the cost of the apples - donuts shot up to $22 a dozen... typically we spent an average of $500.00 when we went here on everything. We walked away disappointed as many other families did-... Your family issues should not be our problem! I wonder what the original founders would think of this! This will be the last time we set foot in this place as we now located a different location. WE do hope this place will go back to it's original GLORY!!! maybe then we will return!

We were actually screamed at by workers the afternoon we visited for trying to walk the path between the winery and distillery. Based on the number of reviews commenting on the same issue I think the owners have no excuses for not improving signage regarding parking. And besides there is zero excuse for screaming at anyone. Besides the screaming it was obvious all the employees were miserable and hated us being there.

If I can give this negative 5 stars I would. To put into context my family has been coming here for almost 35 years and this year will be our last. They have separated the businesses into 2 parts, 1 for the orchard and 1 for the winery. If you want to go to the orchard you have to park your car at the orchard as you can’t walk down there anymore, and that is $5 per person to go to the restaurant and orchard. Now if you want to go to the winery from the orchard, good luck as you can’t walk the 10 feet. You have to get back in your car to drive up to the winery and find parking there. If you want to go back towards the orchard you have to again get back in your car and drive back to the orchard and find parking again. Now the orchard itself. They charge you $1 for a tiny bag and if you fill that bag they charge you an additional $18 and if not they charge you pro rate. The big bag is $2 and filled you pay $36. There is no puppet show, and there is very little to do for kids to do. The once famous hot apple cider donuts are now cold, oily, and no flavor donuts. Myself and my family are severely disappointed at Apple Dave’s and will be taking our business and apple picking elsewhere. Such a shame.

Our family has been coming to Apple Dave's and Applewood winery for many years for Apple picking.. and as locals, would come a few other times in spring/summer. We used to love it. This was our last time. What was once a beautiful symbiotic relationship between 2 companies has turned into a sour 'divorce' making their patrons bare the brunt of inconvenience. Having to move our car to switch between the winery and cidery/orchard is the most absurd thing I've ever experience. We loved when we would toggle back and forth and enjoy the property as a whole but it feels like Apple Dave's has become greedy and the one enforcing restrictions.

Need to contact them directly, but I don't see why not.
I saw a couple. Not sure if "service dogs" or not
Problem is the lines are long and no one has been making sure the crowds stay socially distanced.
Website says till late October so next week is guess is mid October http://www.appledavesorchards.com/pages/directions.html

You cannot cook, but you can bring a picnic and enjoy there.

Yes- season ended by end of Oct i believe
As long as they are on a leash, and you clean up after them.
