Very very children friendly. Swings, including for infants, and wheelchair bound. Life guards they will live it. Just have beach shoes and you are all set. Accepts Empire Pass to park.

Only some parts in the trails allowed dogs the last time I asked a few years back. Check with the parks office near the main entrance for a map of allowed places, if they still allow it. They are not allowed at our near the beach or boardwalk.

Hello Shrek... there is no bike rental around the park but you can bring your own bike (but only to bike around the park, when it comes to the boardwalk... I believe there are certain times when you can only use your bike like... during weekdays and until 9am I think). Electric Skateboard and scooter are also not allowed in the park as per the park staff.

This is a State Park, so it's open to public. Parking was free yesterday, absolutely GORGEOUS there.... Beach is nice and clear but theres rocks by the water, so bring your swim shoes. Must arrive early parking spots are limited... you can Golf, go for a hike/walk along a trail theres a BBQ area, kids playground and of course the Beach.... Great for a family outting!!!

The bathrooms are in the large buildings before you enter the boardwalk. For The large building that is in the center of the boardwalk, the bathroom is located as you walk through the tunnel of the building. The building at the east end of the boardwalk has a bathroom on the east side of the building

Pets are not allowed in the park or on the beach but there's great trails you can bring a dog, through the old dock road entrance in kings park. Also blydenberg has a great dog park as well as plenty of trails as long as they are leashed as the trails are shared with horses as well. Good luck.

You can enter as early as sunrise but it starts charging around 8. There is a parking line for the golf course that starts at 7 am, the park closes at dusk, and that varies throughout the year. Sometimes as late as 9 pm.

They do groom the beach. The boardwalk is well kept also. The water is the sound which has little to no current. Therefore it can appear at tomes to be muddled or dirty. It is safe, they do regular testing.

Depends on what field you park in. Field 1 is closest to the beach. The grills are to the left. Bring a canopy to set up over the grill if you don't bring your own. Get there early so you can get a big spot

Pets are not allowed in developed areas of the park such as bathing or picnic areas, in buildings or on walkways and cannot enter through the main entrance. Pets are welcome through the alternate entrance on Old Dock Road off of 25A East. There you will find a designated dog walk trail.
