They don’t even answer the phone sometimes I’ve let it ring for over 15 minutes and no answer nothing?! It’s a wonder how they are still there? Do they even hear the phone ringing? Horrible service since the switch to catholic health services????

My wife (including her family) and I are both patients of EMFP. I've been going there over 20 years. She and her family much longer. The doctors and the PAs that are there I find to be wonderful and knowledgeable. The problem I have, as well as my wife and her family is their customer service. Many many years ago, if you arrived there for an appointment, no matter if you were late, early or on time, you waited hours to be seen. Flash forward to when they became part of ProHealth. Patient wait time dramatically improved (15-30 minutes). However, customer service was a disaster. It would take hours to call in to make an appointment, get lab results and return calls. They began using an app "MyChart" which improved communication with the doctors directly, scheduling appointments and getting information like lab results. But this was only through the app. Calling in to speak to a person was almost impossible. Recently, a little over a month, they left ProHealth and went to Catholic Health Services with the promise that services would improve. They also promised that there would be no interruption in the services that they provide. That was incorrect. Calling in is nearly impossible, took me almost a week of continuous calling to actually reach a person. Communication through their "MyChart" app is just as bad. Sent 4 messages medication renewals and not one response. When I finally reached a person after trying for days their response was that the doctor was not in and probably didn't read the messages. First message was 9/7, today is 10/6. Really, a month. Also there are many instances where insurances are not accepted as in network that were in the past. From what I was told, by them, it is taking 45 days for your insurance to be considered in network. If it was not for the wonderful treatment the I have received from the doctors, I would have found another primary care physician a long time ago. At this point, if the do not rectify the current situation immediately, I will going to a new doctor. Actually I am currently in the process of looking for a new doctor, in case this problem is not solved. I truly hope EMFP reads these reviews. They are at the point of losing many patients.

Worst doctor's office ever!!! Outsourcing phone calls. Good luck trying to make an appointment or actually talking with someone from the office. Rude, horrible, inefective service. Pathetic. Will be finding a new doctor asap

Edit: still trying to get them correct their code for my physical from last year. It's been 14 months and counting (how many years are they going to continue to do this?!!). I'm so tired of trying to get them fix it while getting bills from the lab and insurance told me they didn't bill correctly for the insurance to pay. They are not responsive nor is there a way to talk to someone! Unless you only go there for a preventative visit with no symptoms, they don't see you and tell you to go to urgent care instead. For the last four years, they billed my blood work incorrectly. After every single preventative check up, I would receive a bill from the lab. I had to call between insurance, the lab and the office to get this fixed. One year, it literally took more than a year, calling each month, to get this fixed. It even went to collection agency because they can't get the code correct! I brought it up to the doc last year and the doc said she made sure she put in the right code for blood work. When technician drew my blood, he changed the code! I brought it up when I checked out and was told if there is any problem, give them a call to have it fixed. Sure enough every year, I had to spend hours and hours to call to get the simple physical bill fixed. I'm still trying to get last year's bill fixed, that's why I am writing this review. Trying to reach them over the phone would take forever to reach someone. They give wrong info saying I will have to call the lab to reach out to them, but the lab said they can't call out, they can only correct code if doc office calls them. Then you have to wait for long on the call to reach someone again. Was told billing will reach out to me with an email address to send them a pic of the bill, but no one called, and I'm again waiting to reach someone who can help.
