Very crowded with people who invade your space. They try and get as many of their friends to come fish so they can take over the entire pier. Many don’t even have the fishing permit. I have even seen New Jersey plates in the parking lot. The State DEC or The New York State police should come there and issue tickets. Many people keeping short short fish. I am talking 5 inch sea bass and 10 inch fluke. I am hoping the Bay Constables or someone begins to come there and enforce the parking and fish limit rules.

Joe my son got it online ,or you can go to Jones beach where you buy parking card ,you have to buy it before a certain month and Iam not sure what month I think my son said March
You need a night fishing or 4x4 fishing permit to park here
While back i has bought my manual permit to go to the Benach and also to go fishing bud 1 day a gentleman after checquin my age he told me that because my age i didn't have to buy or pay for the permit but i want to be aire an Oii ut
You need an NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation marine fishing registration and a NYS state parks 24 hour night fishing car permit or a NYS 24 hour beach access 4x4 permit.
Need either a 4x4 beach permit or night fishing permit both can be attained at your local state park office. Robert Moses or Jones beach state park office.
Hello you need a permit to fish there and you cannot sleep overnight there
