Dr. Barry is an artist. He just repaired a cracked tooth -- and of course it had to be one of the main front teeth -- and it looks better now than it did before. Completely pain free. Everyone should be this good at what they do.

I was hesitant with returning to the dentist due to the pandemic but my concerns were alleviated upon arrival. You have to call the office when you’re outside and they let one person in at a time after doing a quick assessment on your health and travels. You go directly to your room which is kept isolated and ventilated with professional air filtration systems. You have to wash your hands prior to entering your room and after exiting. The hygienist and dentist are donned thoroughly in PPE. As a medical professional myself, I was impressed with the care and attention to detail put into making this environment as safe as possible for everyone involved. Great work and will always recommend.

Been going here for years. I was very impressed with the investment the team made to create a safe environment for the staff and for the patients. From screening upon arrival to the partitioned cleaning stations with their own individual air purifier. Well done!!

Wow is all I can say. I've always been incredibly impressed with The Dental Team - but the job they did creating a safe and comfortable environment during this hard time is exemplary. A+ guys! From the warm and sincere greetings from Gloria and Michelle... to the unreal care and kindness provided by Crystal the greatest hygienist around... capped off by the proficiency and professionalism of Dr. Barry. This MUST be the greatest "dental team" in Connecticut!

When starting a root canal treatment, The Dental Team, will begin by removing all infected pulp from your infected tooth. This is done by drilling down into your tooth’s center. They’ll clean it out and then seal it to prevent further problems in the future. You might just need the filling. In other cases, the dentist is going to recommend a follow-up appointment where he’ll place a crown on the tooth. This will help protect it against further decay and allow you to chew once more without experiencing a lot of pain.

Dental inlays is a pre-molded filling that fits right inside the grooved area of your tooth and doesn’t go over the edge of that tooth. First, you’ll be numbed with a general anesthetic, so you don’t feel anything during the procedure. Then the dentist will start drilling into your tooth. This is to remove decay from the damaged tooth and clean it out. Dental inlays are one type of restorative method that is commonly used to repair your tooth once it’s damaged to due to decay or injury that won’t have an effect on the tooth’s edges. After the tooth is cleaned out, the dentist will then make an impression and send that impression off to a lab. There the inlay will be made. Dental inlays are formed from a porcelain material or composite resin that is made to match the shade of your teeth. This makes it almost completely invisible and will not be noticed. It also will restore the surface of your tooth to make chewing easier.
