My husband and I have been coming here for years and every experience has been a blast. We've rented canoes and packed picnics and cruised lazily down the river, and now we have our own kayaks which they offer their shuttle service for around $8.50-10 per kayak. You must have your kayaks registered by the BMV and provide your own life jackets but they help put you in the river and then shuttle you and your kayaks back to your vehicle easy peasy! Reservations must be 24 hours in advance and the staff are always super friendly and helpful with any questions you have. I highly recommend this for summer fun outdoors with friends or family.

I definitely recommend! The staff were super friendly and so nice . I had a group of 13 kayaking and camping. We had to push our times twice due to waiting on a couple people from our group. The girls at the counter were really nice and one of the staff guys were really cool . Laid back and such a cool place to have around. definitely will be coming back !

Terrible. It was all fun until we noticed our kayak filling with water. We stopped at some rocks and tipped the water out. We started on our way and it was filling up again. it filled to the point the kayak sank and flipped into the water. We were all trying to help, we’re in the canal, full of mud. We called them to send help and they said NO. They wouldn’t send anyone. Finally we dragged the super heavy kayak out of the water and all of our things were ruined. We quickly paddled to the end, and went back to the lobby. They seemed to not even care. They gave us a free kayak ride when we come back. Wouldn’t even give us a refund! As if we are coming back after we just fell in the canal due to you not checking if there were holes in your kayaks. We got pictures, videos, they didn’t care. Thanks a lot . . .

The two young ladies at the livery were very polite and professional as was the driver who returned us after our trip. It was a relaxing experience; however, there was one young male employee at the end of the 3 mile trip who did not bother getting off his cell phone to help us get our canoe out of the water. He didn't even acknowledge us once we were out and could even here his coworker because he wouldn't take the ear buds out of his ears. Not likely to return.

There's no tubing here and they dont rent intertubes. I'm assuming only kayaks or canoes can be launched.... I wouldnt go in this water anyways. There was a flood this summer and I hear there are alot of Big spiders.
