Home sweet home. So grateful I got a day that wasn’t pouring rain on my visit- the beach was beautiful today. 💜 There are sections of the beach you can drive, restrooms at the approach and the boardwalk is always nice.

This is amazing walk along the beach. All the sights and sounds without subjecting yourself to the sand. It's an easy walk and wheelchair accessible. Also easy enough and with enough places to stop and sit that even those with limited mobility can do some portions.

The longest beach in the world also has a long boardwalk to stroll. There is handicap parking and the boardwalk is wheelchair accessible. The one minus here is that they allow vehicles on the beach. Staring at the ocean is one of the most relaxing things in the world...until you almost get run over or have engine noises drown out nature. We can do better, humans.

This beach approach from West Bolstad Street is the main access from Long Beach. Most of the parking is now off the street with newer restrooms. There is a large, covered picnic shelter, open picnic shelters, access to the Boardwalk and Discovery Trail, and an unmistakable huge red buoy.
