Glendalough Manor provided Pleasant and Unpleasant experiences I will never forget. My Wedding was approximately one year ago, May 22, 2021, with over 100 Guests. Glendalough Manor was SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL inside and outside! The colorful landscape was magnificent! Amy, sales and marketing director, was extremely instrumental in assisting with coordinating our Wedding. She was very competent, well organized, accessible, empathetic and displayed a warm and inviting personality that I will always remember and cherish. More importantly, Amy was responsive to my needs. Jena, our Wedding Planner and the owner's daughter, was nice. However, she did not respond to emails and/or phone calls in a timely manner. Sometimes it took over a week to receive a response. The ambience was very romantic. Our Guests raved about the Hors D' Oeuvres, the outstanding service provided by the Bartender, in particular, a "punch like" bar drink that was reported as ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We paid approximately $14,500 for food, including Hors D' Oeuvres and, unfortunately, a food shortage (no food) at all three Stations: Pasta, Shrimp and Grits and Mini Burger. In fact, many Guests reported receiving a pink or raw Mini Burger although, during our tasting, we requested well-done or fully cooked. Not to mention, the food portions were very small. After examining the beautiful pictures on the Website and touring the facility, I dreamed of taking a photo with my husband, at night, in front of the Beautiful Water Fountain to frame and hang in our home. Unfortunately, this did not happen because both Jena and her Assistant left Glendalough several hours before the end of our Reception and the remaining staff did not know how to turn the Fountain lights on and after several attempts, could not reach Jena nor her Assistant by phone. This was an extremely devastating moment for me! After sharing the aforementioned issues with Jena I received a Refund Check for only 8 Guests, seated at the last table, for the Burger Station only. After much reflection, I returned the check and sent Jena an email stating my rationale, of which, as of today, I haven't received a response. No amount of money, even a full refund, would have been sufficient. In addition, 21 plastic storage bags for my centerpiece mirrors were misplaced, although I was assured that they would be returned after the Reception. I strongly believe these unpleasant experiences could have possibly been prevented via implementing effective systems, planning, collaboration and communication. Thanks Amy for being responsive to my needs by trying to "make things right". I hope this review serves as feedback for improvement to ensure ALL Brides encounter pleasant experiences that will constitute a lifetime of precious memories!

The day of our wedding was beautiful and amazing. The vendors that come through Glendalough were friendly and helpful and they provided a beautiful experience for us and our guests. If you are an out-of-state couple looking to use them, it will be a little difficult. They only offer vendor tours on Tuesday and Thursday at Glendalough, which was difficult for me and my husband, and they offered little accommodations for that. I did have several zoom meetings with vendors as well as phone calls but when it came to taste test the food, there was no availability for them to do over the weekend. However if you live in-state or are able to take off work during the week, I would total recommend them. They did misplace our bubbles for our exit, but by then we had had such a great experience, we didn't care.

I held my wedding here 3 weeks ago. It is a beautiful venue and their gardens are the perfect place for an outside wedding. The facility is very nice and the staff is amazing. Amy, Jenna and Pennie are fun and do everything to ensure you have a picture perfect , once in a lifetime moment. Brides get the bridal suite to get ready in. It was huge. We got fruit and cheese trey and our choice of beverages. I did the served buffet. The food was amazing and very flavorful. They have various ballrooms to pick from and an amazing bar. I love love love this place!
