The staff and volunteers really love the dogs and the dogs are all loved and well-cared for. Go see them and adopt or foster so they have more room to help more dogs.

Got to bring my pup to her furever home this afternoon! There was a slight altercation involving the foster that was caring for the pup. Let me tell you, the ladies that work at Royal animal Refuge are so compassionate and professional! The situation was taken care of immediately. Thank you to all of the ladies for helping me keep a level head!

Great group of people who love these animals. So sweet.

We adopted our sweet Georgia girl previously "Cloud" 2 years ago. She is blind (we knew that when we adopted her) but she is the best dog ever and just wanted to let you all know she is in Cincinnati being pampered and living her best life. Can't express how grateful I am for this rescue and what they do for the animals they serve.

I believe with parental consent
I would swing by when they are open or look at their website or Facebook page they always update who is available for adoption. The team there is super nice and takes great care of the animals you will be very happy I promise !
You need to contact the refuge directly. This is just the google maps entry for the refuge.
Its best to msg them on fb they have several admins.... :)
Super easy to volunteer. Go to their page their are lots of spots needing to be filled for volunteering.
You can call them and see if they are hiring but most of their staff is volunteer.
Royal Animal Refuge is an awesome place! I really enjoyed meeting everyone there and they're very helpful and nice. Their number is a text only number or you can just ride up to their location, it's in Tyrone, right off of hwy 74.
Yes, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Volunteers who are 16+ may come independently.
Mine was 350. I thought it was high, but I know vet cost have become outrageous and they did take care of getting vaca, and spaying our girl. Plus, I know it cost a lot to do what they do. I want them to continue to save animals.
It all depends on what puppy or adult dog you get. But mostly starts off at $200.
Royal Rescue doesn't take cats, try Fayette Animal Shelter on Hwy 74S
This tends to change, best bet is to check their Facebook page or call the rescue. They have several that have been there about a year, which is an eternity in rescue time.
I live in Fairburn and will be alert for your pup. Hope for you and him that he's found soon.
They take dogs if they have space. They don't accept other types of animals.
No, there is no phone number. Facebook and/ web are your only options.
They have several pits. You'll get a faster response regarding a specific dog if you go by or ask them on Facebook. If the one you are inquiring about is gone, there are still many others to choose from. They're all super sweet.
Their Facebook page typically has updates
Adoptions fees pay for vet care and housing of the animals at the Refuge. The fee is not voluntary, although you may contribute more if you wish. At the time of this writing the adoption fee is $300.
Just show up during business hours. They will be happy to let you meet and greet anyone there
They dont have a cat area yet
No. Due to the volume of messages, all communications are by facebook and email. If you have questions, i can try to answer them or connect you with someone who can.
I wouldnt say very long. Maybe a few days depending on the pup available. you go in you fill out an app. you see if they need to be nuetered etc.
250 and that covers the cost of the micro chip and the fixing of the dog. I have adopted and helped out there I highly recommend saving 1 of their dogs❤❤
