I had a decent experience. My food was OK. Had the cheddar prime rib. Gravy and toast was delicious, Not nearly enough horseradish sauce and you kind of expect actual prime rib, instead of steak-ums. I'm not upset about it though because for only $15 that's what you're going to get. My friend's fish was over cooked and greasy on the outside and still frozen on the inside. This was after we were informed that they were out of the already "prepared " fish for fish and chips and she said it was fine, just bring a fish sandwich without the bread. Her broccoli was supposed to be buttered and wasn't, and also not seaosned at all. There were no options given for her choice of dressing on her salad. Was just expected to like the house dressing. The server was professional but definitely made us feel as if we complained we would be fulfilling his preconceived notions of how we "look". So we didn't complain at all even though we were far from satisfied and we left him more than a 20% tip because it's the "principle". The drinks were great, loved the quiet and classy atmosphere and our appetizer of Spinach Fromage was wonderful. We loved the music as well. It's been many years since I've came to this establishment, and I absolutely love the new look, we could have dealt with the OK food...but it's beyond ironic when someone who works the same job as you treats you so "professional", yet demeans you. I've heard so many great things about this place so hopefully we just came on an off day, it has a ton of potential.

The space itself is well designed & interesting, however the execution of the food & service was not to the level you would expect at this price range. The chicken was incredibly dry & the salmon uninspiringly bland. Our waitress Vanessa looked miserable and we tried to get her attention several times to no avail. The difference in service compared with those around us was jarring.

Beautiful restaraunt! We had reservations for dinner, a must because they are always busy. We were greeted by staff who held the door for us, they were friendly and welcoming. We were seated immediately and our waitress was awesome! Food was truly delicious, we did not get anything that wasn't perfectly prepared.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Dean was a wonderful waiter. Food was divine. Atmosphere was romantic and quiet. I haven't been here since before the remodel and can not wait to enjoy their food again! I am so glad we were able to celebrate my birthday dinner here.

I work here and just because the place looks a lot nicer and fancier does not mean in any way that you need to dress fancier to visit. We'll still be happy to serve you.
I think it is mostly for adults and children over 13 or 14.
No valet, parking is usually pretty easy along the curbside. Most guests have no trouble finding a spot close by.
I'm not sure. Call the restaurant or check their website.
The Alcove books one year in advance, no matter the size.

No. That building has been torn down. It was on Harcourt Road next to Fiesta Mexicana
