Me and my best friend planned a Girl’s Day Out to check out the Lavender and Lilies Festival at Wild Daisy Farm. We went on 6/10/22. Wild Daisy Farm is a beautiful place filled with beautiful people. When we drove up Kasun directed us to parking. He then approached the car, greeted and welcomed us. He was such a pleasant young man (he is either an approaching Junior or Senior in high school), which was very refreshing. He gladly took pictures of me and my BFFL (Best Friend for Life) and obliged us with a selfie together. Once we entered the farm, we were greeted by Jenny the owner. She gave us the history of the farm (if I recall corrected it was established in the mid 1800’s) and told us about all the good stuff we had in store for the day’s visit. She was very friendly and welcoming. She also obliged me with a selfie. Before the adventure started, I wanted lunch- skipped breakfast so I would be ready. I love tacos, checked the reviews for Georgia Tacos before coming and was excited to try them. Those were some of the best tacos I have had. I will be definitely stalking that food truck since the home base is in the neighboring county, so I can indulge again. After eating it was time to get the party started. We entered the “barn”, the store and was greeted by Little Miss Grace passing out samples of her freshly baked Lavender &Lemon Cookies. Everyone said they were to die for. I was still on my taco high so I passed, but BFFL said they were absolutely delish. Grace had a beautiful smile and a glowing personality…….and oh did I mention she is 12 or 13 years old. WOW!!! How awesome is that. We strolled through the store to look at all the offerings: -handmade soaps and sachets -u-pick wildflowers and sunflowers -u-pick lavender bunches -fresh cut lavender bunches -make your own lavender potpourri station. It was an awesome experience and we look forward to attending next day.

I have to say that Wild Daisy Farm is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures don’t do it justice, there’s a classic natural beauty across the entire farm and the lavender fields are priceless. Jenny the live-in proprietor is the sweetest lady you’ll ever meet and she didn’t pay me to say that!

Whoa. What a find. We decided to journey down to Molena on recommendations from friends to sample Wild Daisy. This is just the type of cafe we long for. Very friendly staff set in a beautifully restored store front on Mainstreet. The owner spent time with us telling us the story behind the restaurant and the wonderful rooms upstairs that are the Inn. (the only inn in Pike county). Everything is farm fresh from her family farm. Desserts are made daily by her mother. You have to plan a trip to Molena and Wild Daisy. I had the chicken rice soup with 3 sliders (hot ham & cheese, chicken salad, pimento cheese). Delicious.

This is such a great place for a quiet getaway. Jenny is a perfect host, and the food is delicious. We enjoyed the unique Cotton Mill Room. It doesn't take long to explore the town, but there are other nearby places to explore if you have more time.
