Great place to get a brief workout! Prepare for elevation gain as soon as you hit the blacktop tree roots riddled road. Or the dirt trail and navigate through muddy areas that will test your every contortionist move catalogued to date. But hey if you're into beautiful scenery and a bit of a challenge ...go for it!

This small Forest Park is fun to hike, And holds a hidden treasure at the top of the hill. A spectacular view of S.Salem. There are restrooms but you'll have to hike the hill to get to them.. Lots of small walking trails diverge off from the main fully paved paved path, that all seem interconnected. There is a shaded picnic area which is nice in the summer heat.

A nice little jem of a park for a short walk in the woods, lots of interesting looking fungi although most are not good to eat, and the bridge to wooden stepping stones is very unique and fun. However, the stepping stones can get really slippery during the rainy seasons, and then you may find yourself in the drink. "Please do be careful not to cross on to the private property that backs up to various locations around the park or the large field at the top, despite how tempting it may be to further explore."

Enjoyable visit at this mini forest park. I rode my horse on every trail we could access. There is a bit of pavement we had to traverse to get to actual trail. Some of the trail needs a bit of clean up, shouldn't need much. Easy parking

Small creek that only runs in winter. Mostly a hill used by people walking dogs, or riding horses.
