Agree with all the bad reviews below. Terrible attitude and poorly run. The staff was trying to gaslight an elderly patient ahead of me but it was clearly the staff's fault that everyone in the waiting room banded together and backed her up. Of course, it turned out to be staff error as they later discovered documentary proof to back up the patient's story. Ridiculous.

My experience at Lenox Hill is the epitome of what’s wrong with American healthcare - this hospital puts patients last. Loud TVs blaring garbage programming in all waiting rooms, messy/dirty changing areas, little discretion in discussing patient status and appointment outcomes in public spaces, doctors and staff who don’t introduce themselves or explain things in detail nor offer to address questions. It’s a factory. Throughout the process - which takes hours - no one made attempts to be sure I was comfortable in the face of a scary diagnosis. I was told to come back for a second screening for which I was billed personally - it was not covered by insurance much to my surprise. After months of stress I have since gone to another hospital for care to find that was completely unnecessary. I’m completely fine - it was just a ploy to get money from my insurance company. Apparently a disheartening yet common practice. If you are told you need a second appointment here shop around.

I've been calling them to schedule an MRI for three days and no one ever answers the phone. I've called them several times and no answer.

It's about mid block between Park and Lexington. I take the 6 to 77th.
