Reserved for my siblings wedding. This is the 2nd wedding out of state so was trying to save money. Wasn’t worth it. I couldn’t even stay! Showed up very early (10:30am) and the lobby was unavailable to use. We couldn’t check in that early (understandable) but was told to come back around two and she could get us in early. I was traveling with my disabled mother, so waiting to checkin without an area for her to sit was frustrating but understandable. Renovations and all. Upon arrival later that day, we check and and I realized that we had to wait again and was checked in to realize the elevator doesn’t work. We can’t do stairs due to my moms condition. The young man give us a different room on the first floor. Walk in to a very unpleasant smell. There was a whole in the bathroom. The bed was sloppily made and everything was covered in dust. Though it looked like the pictures furniture wise that was all it resembled. This place was also in a bad location, a homeless camp was near by and even though they said they had security I never saw anyone. Honestly, that wasn’t the worse part. Seeing people smoking crack right in front of the hotel was my breaking moment. Now I started to realize what that smell probably was. Lastly, the manager (Cindy) was very rude as I tried to explain why I left and was requesting a refund. She said all she could do was push back my reservation to a different date. Since I was using a 3rd party (hopper) she couldn’t grant me a refund. However, she’d cut me off trying to explain along with saying my efforts to get a refund was a “pain in the ass” because hopper was calling on my behalf as well. I hope that other young man becomes manager one day. We left and went to stay at The Porter by Hilton and would 10/10 recommend if you have the money. Which I didn’t but wanted to feel safe. All this to say don’t stay here

We had booked this place for two nights, having no idea what part of town it was located in. We arrived about 1pm to see if we could check in yet since we had been on the motorcycle in the rain all morning but we were not able to. The person behind the window was nice enough to let us know which room we had been assigned and we could leave our little trailer there until we got back at 3 to check in. The room was ok, the shower curtain rod was installed incorrectly so that when you took a shower or wouldn't cover the whole tub area. Floors need some attention also, kind of sticky. The guests or residents were a bit on the sketchy side and the homeless community set up outside the fence was unnerving. We almost left after the 1st night because my husband caught someone looking into our room after he had opened the curtains to check on the bike. The second night was a bit better nobody loitering outside our room this time.

We had a non-smoking room that had definitely been smoked in smelled like smoke, had burns in the curtains, bed sheets, and on the bathtub. We didn’t have a smoke detector until the day before we checked out because that’s when we finally got our room cleaned even though we were told it would be every 3 days. Our door looked like it had been kicked in once upon a time and didn’t quite shut anymore which made locking it a bit difficult until I figured out the trick to it. The lady I checked in with was very nice and friendly.

Lowest option around that isn't a sketched out dive. Clean rooms, good water pressure, because of the area there's almost always something weird going on and security around to deal with it. The manager lady is really cool and helpful, but the rest of the staff have provided a less than stellar experience during my stay on more than one occasion.

Use the max, it gets you closer than the shuttle and it's faster
