Had the fried clam strips with cole slaw and fries. Was ok but didn't love it. The clam strips are so thin that you mostly just taste breading. I wouldn't order again.

Superb lunch today at a Mac's, a new seafood restaurant for Chatham, MA, just open one month (Mac's has other locations on Cape Cod). The winter oysters and clams always seem to me to be fatter and juicier. These were exquisite, just heavenly!! The house mignonette sauce was delicious. The fish and chips looked very ordinary when they arrived at the table. But the fish was superb, fresh, never frozen. The coleslaw, like a great salad, speaks volumes about the quality of a restaurant. This coleslaw was perfect. I also brought a bowl of their Bermuda fish chowder to take home. Really great seafood.

Being on the Cape for the first time I had to try Mac’s after seeing it shared on so many Gluten Free pages, sadly it did not weight up to hype and the 2 hour drive to get there. For the location, I would say it is a great spot with an extensive menu for celiacs and gluten free travelers alike in the area. As for my favorite fried seafood (fried clams), I would say it doesn’t come close to Woodman’s in Essex. The food was good, the service was ok, it took 2 times going up to get a refill drink to go with my meal. Overall it was enjoyable experience, but I don’t think I would drive 2 hours for it again. Definitely a good spot for safe eats on the Cape, but other then that I would say the experience was average at best.

From the beginning of the Pandemic Mac's has followed good Covid practices. Their take out has been safe and efficient for many months, even in the height of the summer season.
We only offer the oyster happy hour at our Provincetown location.
Do you mean does Mac's sell gift cards? No idea.
Prices competitive: expect to spend $20 per person at a minimum. The quality is first rate. I cannot recall if a children's menu is available but I do believe that they have a website or you can telephone them. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. I would go back and I am tighter than bark on a tree.
