The staff was friendly, and very good at communicating. I had a very clean room. There are numerous snacks gratis, in the lobby, a good refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Free complimentary coffee at the shop across the street and a free carb heavy breakfast the cafe. (could you please have a fruit, oatmeal, yogurt option?) It was an excellent value. I asked for a quiet room and I got that. During full occupancy the quiet factor will depend on the courtesy of the adjoining rooms. Fast internet, good TV channels. They embrace the current minimalist esthetic for the rooms. A nice remodel of an older motor hotel. Excellent location in the heart of downtown Corvallis with numerous eating ,drinking, and shopping options in less than a five minute walk. A short walk to OSU for lectures, home games, etc. Adding cafe half curtains to the rooms would let you have light add some privacy and be at a low cost. (just saying). I would recommend. An excellent value for this town

My daughter and her friend we’re supposed visit Oregon State University Feb 4th-6th. My daughter came down with Covid-19 6 days before the visit. So we tried to cancel via booking.com and directly with the hotel both said we could cancel but you wouldn’t be refunded. I asked if we could rebook or get a credit for future, another no. Then hotel mention that my daughter and friend wouldn’t able check in because of the age. So both booking and hotel always talked about their policies. Mostly likely they probably rebook the room we never used and got paid twice. In the future my policy is never book with booking.com and never use Hotel Corvallis. Maybe I sure write a review every week as my new policy

Positive: The night staff were very friendly, the location was close to town. Negative: There were weird stains in the room, the day staff were not friendly. There was a lot of confusion about our booking, payment, and discounts.
