I'm updating this review because today they served me the most perfect popcorn of my 68 years. I ordered a small with extra butter and the young man took his time getting it just right. I teased him that he must be a perfectionist and he said that he wanted every bite to be exactly what I ordered. Well, he done did it!! Upon exiting I told him how much I appreciated this excellent service. I also need to mention that I love Salem Cinema because I'm able to see exceptional films that aren't loud and violent. Little old Salem is lucky to have us some culture!

Great independent movie theater! We always prefer to see any movies we can here. Popcorn made with real butter, friendly staff, small theaters. There are lots of previews before each film, seems like more than the average theater, so no rush to get in your seat right at showtime.

Love this place! Great quality movies shown and very clean theaters. The concessions are great- the snack choices are the best and I have a hard time not getting everything I want!! The gummy pandas are the best gummy snacks I’ve ever had and I CRAVE the cookies. The staff are so nice, friendly and helpful. I love having this theater in our community!
