My favorite coffee shop in Atlanta! The staff is awesome, the location is perfect, the porch is relaxing.

One of the best coffe shop in Atlanta. Ordered Chily Goat Blended Latte and Mocha. Latte is very mild and mocha is stronger than latte. Both are really good and they blend coffee with ice. It tastes like coffee smoothie but not like cheap coffee smothie in gas station but tastes bolder. Highly recommend..

I loved hanging out here. I would go religiously. However, the odd thing is the tall guy that alludes to an attitude of why are you here again. He would be extra friendly to the guest and acts monotone and stand-off-ish every time i go. I always threw in a tip but nope the same unwelcoming attitude. I mainly ordered a latte with oat milk and sugar free vanilla. Well one day due to the horrible customer service i decided to start ordering expressos and save about $5.00 ( by bringing my own non dairy milk and eliminating the sugar free sweetener). So instead of paying $7 -$9 for a latte i would pay about $3.00. I went in today and asked for an expresso over a small cup of ice. They charged $1.00 extra for a quarter cup of ice. HUH ... make it make sense because a cup of ice in most places is free. I'm so good i started supporting Dancing goats after meeting Ren & Julia years ago at a local event in midtown. Well no more will i be a regular here. I found two new spots Buzz Coffee & Winehouse & Black Coffee ATL. They don't have as much space but the customer service is genuinely impeccable and they don't overcharge for a quarter cup of ice.

Hi Betsy, We were one of the earliest business to open up around the Ponce City Market and were able to serve coffee to all of the construction crews working on the remodel of the market. Our location used to be the auto repair department for Sears. This is not the first location...our Decatur Dancing Goats® Coffee was the first to open in the Atlanta area. Great questions!
Parking is always a challenge, but worth it.
Hi Caroline! Here's what they say on their website: "In the remote highlands of 9th century Abyssinia, now Ethiopia, a lone goatherd named Kaldi noticed his goats were full of energy, dancing and prancing, after eating a small red fruit from a nearby shrub. Not wishing to be left out of the fun, he ate the cherries and soon he was dancing too. According to legend, Kaldi and his goats had discovered coffee." Hope this helps!
