Just love looking at old historical church Backstory West Hunter Street Baptist Church was organized in 1881 by a small group of dedicated Christians who called Reverend Alex Allen as the first Pastor.

Warm place and always felt welcomed, I attended when Pastor Toussaint Hill was pastor and he always brought it home everytime! This church is very much woke in the way of keeping the community abreast, uplifted and together as one. It reminds me of my parents hometown church in Monticello, Ga where people still smile when they see you, look out for one another and not afraid to extend kindness and love for God and all humanity.

They give away food twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays. Get there around 8am.
