Super nice staff and a wonderfully done custom necklace line! Would highly recommend to anyone even vaguely interested in ropes or knots!

Wonderful shop! Visiting our son from Iowa. He suggested we check it out. Interesting to watch them at their craft. Bought 2 sets of coasters which I love!

They made me the bracelet I wanted in only 8 minutes! Thank you!

Had a wonderful experience @ the shop. Got custom, adjustable bracelets for my boyfriend & I made by Megan and I can’t wait for us to wear them!

We follow all state guidelines with the following additions: 1. Each employee records their temperature upon the start of their shift and again if they choose to leave early. 2. We have HEPA filters spread around the public and work area. There are two in the shop on Holmes Street and 5 at the shop on Cottrell Street. 3. We have a policy of opening windows for at least 30 min per day to supplement the filtration system and weather permitting they are open all day. 4. We position our employee work stations with more than 6 feet separating them. 5. We have hand sanitizer as you enter the shop and also by the register. We do frequent wipe downs. 6. There are plastic barriers separating some of our workspaces to ensure a 6 foot separation between the workshop and customer area where the layout might allow customers within 6 feet of our team. 7. Masks are required for all customers and employees in the manner outlined in the state guidelines.
unfortunately, the EU changed their rules and made it excessively expensive to ship to any of the EU countries as of this year. (2022) We stopped shipping to Europe as a result.
Gayle, It's something we consider from time to time, but space is a consideration. We don't have any room in our workshop or our retail store to conduct classes. We do teach at other people's events from time to time, specifically the Mystic Aquarium's Mystic Spirit Week and at events hosted by the CT Department of Environmental protection. I'd like to teach at our shop, but when we've tried, it's failed due to the limited space constraints. Matt
I just googled this myself as I never heard the term before. We are traditional knot tyers carrying on my grandfather's tradition. There are quite a few places to explore beautiful paracord patterns like the 3 axis weave. BTW, I learned it's also called the 'qbert weave' if that helps in your research. Thanks for the question
