Would give them zero stars if I could. Waited for two and one half hours to get our car in Boston. They are the absolute worst car rental company there is. DO NOT USE Thrifty!!!!

This company is the biggest scam of all rental agencies. We were charged over 300 dollars for returning a car EARLY d/t Hurrican Ian. They stated it was because we returned it to Ohio only because FT Myers airport was shut down. They are unethical and criminals. I will he contacting the Florida AG. Do not rent here.

The gentleman l rented the vehicle from was great but during Hurricane Ian my rental was due back, the rental location was closed so l called the 800 number and was threatened with arrest and hung up on by their customer service agents l wouldn't recommend them Dollar or Hertz seeing they the same company. I wanted to return the car since people are coming to make sure they have homes to live in but what a mistake by renting from them.

Great company if you like being charged for coverage that you declined. As other have alluded to in their reviews, this company and/or location adds fraudulent charges to you total invoice. We made a booking online months in advance and used our Chase Travel account. We arrive to the location and they need a card on file for the security deposit, no problem we used my Amex. Well they turned around and charged my Amex $237.93 for Damage Waiver coverage which I declined at the time of booking and when we picked up the vehicle and claim they have no record of us refusing these coverages and will not help because I “signed their agreement”. Thrifty? More like ‘shifty’ business practices. I’ve tried to reach out to get this resolved and they were unwilling to refund or resolve this issue. I have reported this to the BBB and have contacted local news agencies. I will be reaching out to attorneys as well.
