From my expirience yes they are open
Unfortunately, library hours for patrons are restricted to three (3) hours of browsing. For the Adult the hours are: Mon., Wed., & Fri. 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., Tues. & Thurs. 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., & Sat. 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. The Children's Library hours are: Mon. - Fri. 2 p.m. - 5 p.m., & Sat. 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. However, patrons are permitted 30 min increments to browse during Browsing Hours. Only patrons with library cards are allowed to browse. Curbside Service is still available.
They do not offer resume services at Mt.Vernon Library at this time. I suggest checking their website for updates on classes and assistance provided since it changes.
