The Escape Rate is biggest indicator. I would say abducted and DaVinci are our easiest games and great for beginners.
Game puzzles are designed for age ability of 12 and up. Younger sibling can join in a group with family and will enjoy being part of group but will be limited in ability to solve some puzzles. We do not recommend children under 5 in game unless some way to watch and control them.
Tim, thanks for the question! Regular admission is $25 per person. Child rates depend on the age of the child.
We actually no longer fill in empty spots with other people. Once your group books into a game, we close out the game- if will be just your group. Most rooms max at 8-10, but best number is typically 5-6.

Saturdays we allow walk-ins, but we do often book out. We do suggest you book your event in advance to secure your game, location, and time.

The great thing about Escape Game Erie is that the experience is fun for ages 8 to 88 ;-).... there are things that kids under 12 or so won't be able to solve (though there are things that not every adult can solve either, which is part of the fun, haha) but even kids under that age have a great time as part of a group. Also, if you have a paid group of 4 or more we can offer you one child under 10 free of charge!
