I keep calling and it will save my number and say they will call back within the time that was given and I NEVER GET A CALL BACK! Very frustrating when you need assistance and have been trying to update information on case for DAYS!

Please understand when you call you may not be connected with someone from the portage county office, take that into account when leaving feedback. I spoke with two people from job and family services and the transactions were polite, and informative. Why not 5 stars you’d ask? The results were not as timely as one would hope. If you really want progress to be made quickly on whatever application you have submitted, I’d recommend you call and keep calling until you find a resolution.

They have 30 days to process your information and get you answer. Well, they took 7 weeks, and because of that I didn’t receive my monthly benefits for the month due to the employees not doing their job. I know this is illegal. If I could give a negative rating I would!

Had my place in line over the phone YESTERDAY for 2-5 1/2 hours. I called them at 9:30 am. No call back yesterday or this morning when they opened. Just called this morning and somehow the waiting time went UP to 4-6 hours?! Crazy.
