This is a great area to park and bike Northwest. Restrooms available here as well. It was a holiday weekend but you don't encounter many hikers on this portion of the trail which makes it easier to ride. Great views of river and caves. approximately 4.5 miles to Antietam area, so 9 miles total round trip.

A beautiful spot to put in on the river. Plenty of free parking, restrooms (glorified portajohn but still), nice boat ramp and access to the C&O path. The river here is nice and wide and perfect to kayak, SUP (what I did), go fishing, tube with your kids or tool around on a pontoon boat.

It has a drop off about 5 ft. We launch a 16 ft correct craft with a prop no problem.
According to canal map looks like close to mile marker 63.
