I was referred to Steve's by another service person. I took my old Toro riding mower to be repaired. I saw some of the complaints on line and as a self employed person, I'm familiar with bad apples that will try to hold my business hostage online over $50. All of the negative reviews, were not the same as my experience. The service guy ( John) was very friendly and told me to allow for 3 weeks. I said yeah, I saw that online and hoped it wasn't true. They got my mower back to me in about a week. The dang thing looks brand new!!! The service was EXCEPTIONAL, the price was fair and I am thoroughly impressed. I won't go anywhere else in the future.

A little disappointed with the service I received or the missing service I should say. I originally called in looking for mulching blades for my mower. It was recommended to me that I get gator blades so I decided to go with this option. Ultimately I asked for a tune up and these new blades however, when I got my mower back there were no new blades and only the old ones sharpened. This is very disappointing to me since this was the main service discussed but whomever I talked to didn’t make a note about these blades. I was also told they would take the belt guards off and clean underneath as I stated there was built up grass in there. I was told no problem but this was not done either unfortunately. Pricing overall was okay but disappointed it was returned with the old blades and not the requested one but as previously stated, whomever I talked to did not note it down despite it being the main service discussed.

What a GREAT experience!!!! I needed my Lawn tractor and snow blower repaired. It took them under 3 weeks to turn it around and there were dozens of parts to replace. Both pieces of equipment came back clean and running great!!! I highly recommend Steve's North End Mower Shop!! Summer update: The first time I used my lawn tractor, it felt like it was brand new. I opened it up and looked at the engine and was extremely pleased by how clean everything was. Steve's North End really knows what they're doing with small machines!!
