Male person at the reception with long hair was great, friendly and helpful but two females nurses were rude. I was there with severe neck pain and after PA checked me, I was told pain management prescription was sent to pharmacy. I went to pharmacy after an hour and prescription was not sent. Waited for an hour there still no luck, I returned back without medication. I wish they would be more mindful when someone is suffering from severe pain and needs a medication. I called them and they kept repeating prescription was sent to pharmacy. Not a great place for urgent care.

My experience with the doctor at this location (Lee Highway) was great. However, my experience with the nurse was not. While I was there, the blood pressure machine malfunctioned not once, but four times. The first time it happened and I expressed discomfort, I was told “feet flat and don’t talk.” She attempted again and again on both arms, after I said “It really hurts.” The last time the cuff started and never stopped to decompress. I began to get shooting pains and my arm began to change color. I attempted to express my discomfort (without speaking at first since I was told not to) and after it was not recognized, I began to attempt to rip it off myself. At that point, my arm had lost color and was beginning to turn blue. I had marks on my arms and a tingling sensation down to my fingertips immediately. At that point, the nurse shrugged and said “I’ll just use last times” and walked out of the room. When the doctor came into the room and I informed him of what happened, he said that it appeared perfect on my chart, even though she never got a true reading. She never attempted to check it manually, just continuously placed a malfunctioning machine onto a patient. I understand that machines malfunction, however, no patient deserves to be put in pain over and over again KNOWINGLY. This was on top of the treatment of other patients I witnessed from this same individual. I continued to have pain in my arms the days to follow as well as bruising around the inside and out of my arm. My right arm continues to be tender to the touch from over a week ago. After calling and reporting it, I was told that “she was taught what to do next time it happens” and offered to be seen for my injuries. I will not return to this office ever again. I ‘m sure the office will say that they “attempted to rectify the situation”, however, offering someone medical care for the injuries you caused does not repair the trauma and medical anxiety that will now be paired with being seen by medical staff. If you have any medical anxiety around doctors or nurses, I highly, HIGHLY suggest another provider.

The facility is clean. The staff are courteous and professional. My only complaint is with the amount of paperwork, which got a little silly.
