Probably the best breakfast I've ever had. I don't live in Fredericksburg and happened to stop there last year. The cinnamon roll/sticky bun I've ever had. I stopped again the other day on my way home to New Jersey and the first time wasn't a fluke. The best breakfast I've ever had.

Don't worry about whether they take reservations or not the food is not worth the money
Check out the Fredericksburg historical museum you may find what you're looking for there. Just a short walk from the mercantile. Also check out foodies, Abe was inside that building or on the steps outside.
