Marilyn, sorry to hear about your washed out issue. I recommend that you give them a call and schedule a time to bring your Sony in for an assessment. Oftentimes they can troubleshoot the problem onsite.
Chris, you would have to bring the camera into the store and they would go from there.

They clean sensors but do not repair cameras or lenses.
Just call and ask. They will probably send it out.
Best go into store with the camera. They will evaluate and advise.
