Booked online using their choice hotels app. Received a confirmation email and thought I was good to go. Pulled up only to find the doors locked and have a very rude employee inform us that they had canceled our reservation (without so much as telling us) and were not doing any more checkins tonight. Did not even offer an apology or to assist us in finding another room, just shut the door and locked it back.

This hotel tried to illegally charge me a pet fee for an ADA certified service animal. This is clearly illegal in the state of Virginia. Can't wait to see what my lawyer has to say

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was smokey and not thoroughly cleaned, but that was expected with the price and past reviews, so I know l knew what I got myself into. If you expect more, you have to pay more in this area. Cigarette burns, mirror dirty, older interior, bed frame had metal sticking out. This isn't a bad review, just accurate. I wanted to save some $ and I did. For the cost, the breakfast was decent though I couldn't eat the highlights being a vegan - they had breakfast sandwiches to warm up - for a non vegan I would say it's a good option. My stay was uneventful in a good way. Hotel was quiet and allowed sleep. I left smelling like smoke, as a non smoker wasn't ideal, but again, I knew what I was getting myself into and was not upset about anything. Not a bad stay. If your expectations are higher just pay more down the street. If you're ok with minimal expectations: decent sleep and hot shower - mission accomplished.

Pay more get a clean room cleaner hotel. Ours had a bath and shower combo in bathroom plus a sunken tub next to the bed! Our non smoking room had cigarette burns on the rims of both tubs and smelled dirty and smokey. Possibly the last person's were by the hour?? Front desk very nice. Accommodating when were asked for a refund . Oh yea and the smoke detector above the window in the corner was open, no battery and disconnected!!
