Awesome outside skating rink. I have been going here for years. Whenever there is an employee from the park here they sit in the booth and play music over the loud speakers. *update 10-10-22* Anacostia now has wayyyy more skating events. There are lots more people that frequent here now. Music is rarely played over the speaker now but not to worry someone is more than likely to have one.

Nice place to go I love it

As a DC native, I love that this part of Anacostia Park is back in use. It's peaceful and family friendly for sure but when it rains, water pools in one of the corners and they could keep it a little clearer but it's a good place to go.

Yes,but only during park hours. Shortly after dark the park is "closed"
Its free. All you need is a government issued ID that the staff will hold until you return the skates.
Skates are free
They rent for free, skates?? When they are open!!!
It’s free! And plenty of free parking. No need for credit cards.
Check out @thelinkup on Facebook or Instagram and it will show the dates of all upcoming events.
I believe also rentals only occur on Saturdays and scheduled park skating events.
No disrespect to you but someone needs to figure that 1 out before a lot of other people get hurt . Please don't get me wrong I love this place I'm a lover of the whole Anacostia park We just have to be a little more responsible
Open year round if u have skates.
Skate rentals are free, but the station closed labor day. bring your own skates till next season.
Rentals are only given out during public events that can be found @thelinkupdc on Instagram and explicitly say so in the description of posts
Haven't seen them loan out skates in years.
I am not sure....try calling the Pavillion number to speak to someone.
During the summer you can rent them for free with a valid id
No just a plug or speaker Sunday is fun day more or a crowd
Not official but im pretty sure people there would be more than happy to assist you
Yes right outside the rink
Everyday
I didn't see a skate rental booth on Sat. But most bring their own skates!
They only pass out skates in the spring and summer (in the winter), the office is closed but the rink is still open
Yes it is ...you Have to have your own music they only supply music in the summertime
