Must be me. Sent out checks to pay five (5) seperate bills using the INSIDE Dropbox 6/30/22. None (0) have been received as of 7/11. One check was local, two within 20 miles. I now had to pay ONLINE (to include late fees) as duplicate payments. I understand staffing issues And supply chain issues, but this is unacceptable for a service I paid for. Forcing your patrons to use online services will cause lost customers. Maybe that's the ultimate goal.

WORST POST OFFICE IN AMERICA!! SCREW UP MY DELIVERIES ON A CONSTANT BASIS!!!
pollardra
In the past year, service has noticably declined -- e.g., NO delivery on Thursday and Friday, March 17-18. This has happened before, and postman cited personnel shortages. I can understand late delivery, but NO delivery? It's not as if we are living in Alaska. I live on a paved road in an easily accessible neighborhood with 29 homes. Come on, Purcellville PO, we need our mail!

I know we are in Covid times. We all face dilemmas, sacrifices, and changes with this. But I am struggling to understand why I keep getting someone else's mail almost everyday, too include packages. At first I ignored it and just put the wrong mail in my neighbors mailboxes or packages. Now I am irritated. I get at least 4-6 pieces of mail several times a week that isn't mine. I also get packages that are on my front door area that are not mine. I have also not received my packages and usps status says delivered on my front porch. Why have a mail service if you don't deliver to the right address? Mistakes happen but this is ridiculous. Its like the carrier doesnt care and just wants to ensure that they dont go back to the post office with mail in the truck. I would rather go pick up my own mail and packages at the post office then. This isn't a job that you volunteer for. You get compensated with pay and benefits. Please do your job to the best of your ability.

Though answering late, this seems to be a popular inquiry. So others may see--no, the Purcellville post office does not offer passport services. If needing this service, the Leesburg, Lovettsville, and Winchester offices are where you'll need to visit.
