Great park to enjoy a walk with the dog and play a round of disc golf. There is also a nice dog park towards the back.
Daniel Hillgren
Baseball and softball fields are good and well maintained. Disc golf course is good. Outdoor picnic areas are good. Indoor basketball, pool, and raquetball are good. Football and soccer fields are very bad.
Seamus Russ
Overall great lifeguards and slides

Dont think so. But if u use a shelter u need to reserve it.
CANDY HILL CAMPGROUND.
It is in the War Memorial Building , enter from the main parking lot side.
Yes! The tennis courts near Wilkins Lake are lined for Pickleball and so is our Rec Center gym for designated pickle ball drop in times. Visit the Park’s website (athletics section) for times: www.WinchesterVA.gov/parks/athletics. Note that the drop in times and available sports change depending on the season. Have fun!
No, there is a closed in dog park but it is not connected to the pool
Yes, we do! It's on the original sign at the Cork Street entrance. 😁
You'll have to call them I have a monthly membership senior resident is $16 I have no idea what any other charges are.
Correct! The outdoor pool is located in the parking lot next to the Rec Center.
Not sure check web site or give them a call
I think so
They have some.
Not to my knowledge
You do, and they also very in price, go to the war memorial building to speak to someone about renting them or call Frederick County parks and recreation
Yes. Entrance to the facility is restricted to elite citizens who receive pool and sunbathing allowances from their rich mommies and daddies. Go take a sunbath on a sidewalk...its free !
Tim it is the brick building right beside the outdoor pool. There is a new section that was built on to the old War Memorial building. The old section has a flat roof and from what I saw apparently it had approximately 3 to 4 inch layered foam and I'm guessing black or a sealed rubber roof that was totally blown off the side of the building and even one of their maintenance men said it ripped out the gas lines as well. Its right across the street from the soon to be soccer fields again. Take care my friend!
Monthly rates are dependant on age , student or senior, city resident...all quite a deal.
Yes, during the pools normal open hours.
