I really love hiking here, including the singletrack, which (like all MORC projects) is technically shared-use. There is a lot of variety and some decent grade. Mosquitoes are negligible by late July, assuming there's a breeze. This close to Minneapolis, it's a treat to have miles of winding, pretty, hilly trails. As a hiker, yield to bikes obviously, and also be advised bikers are friendly but very plentiful here. You more or less need eyes in the back of your head, but to me it's worth it.

Great place to get the kids to burn some energy. Good shade for the parents.

We love this park! Everything you might need for great time is right here: a playground, picnic tables, bike trails, and a lake with kayak rentals. I took one star off because the playground doesn't have any swings.

Ample parking and handicapped parking. Colors are starting to change on the trees. Boat launch, picnic tables, porta potty. Very scenic spots at the park. Some grills there.

The do have grills you can use.
Technically no buy once apon a time yes but at this point your allowed to walk dog around as long as you have doggy bags
Pets are permitted on paved trails only, not in the play area or the picnic areas. It's probably open but I'd wait until the surfacing gets a little softer before doing too much climbing.
There are two different campsites that can be rented. I'm not sure of prices, but I know available dates go quickly. And you can only book a year in advance.
There are two group camps that can be reserved that have water and bathroom facilities but no large scale campground.
