Riderwood is not the place for everyone. With that being said, my biggest complaint is that if you decide to leave you wait over a year to get your deposit back and you loose about 60,000.00. My mother left as we did not think the care was as good in the assisted living as other places could offer. We left. We still do not have her money back. Its been almost a year. This is too long to wait for some and they are stuck. Once you leave, the employees are rude and uncaring. It's a scam beware! Independent living is nice but hope you never need more care because you won't get it there.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE REHABILITATION STAFF AT OAK GROVE RIDERWOOD VILLAGE! My 93 year old grandmother fell and broke her shoulder, which also caused her to have limited mobility. We received referrals from the hospital for different rehab centers, and with a such bad rep, my family was apprehensive. However, the first contact with the admin staff at Riderwood was pleasant and set the tone for expectations going forward. My grandmother received the best care she could receive at a rehab center. She said the staff, with the exception of a few were amazing to her and she is grateful for them getting her almost back to being normal. Without the help of Riderwood, I don't think she would be as far along as she is. I just want to say THANK YOU for all you did to help my grandmother!

I had the chance to visit the place on a number of occasions to see a dear friend. The place is clean and bright and comfortable. People seemed happy.
