Went to this location this morning (Rhode island Ave). Waited an hour past my appointment time to see a doctor. Then told they are out of strep tests. Front desk unfriendly and not particularly helpful, failing to all even wear masks. Facility filthy (photo attached.) Past experience here two years ago was also beyond abysmal. Update: emailed patient experience as requested, never got a reply. SHAME ON GWU AND GWMFA. SICKENINGLY POOR SERVICE. LITERALLY. As a GWU graduate with a physician parent who is a GW Med graduate, I’m ashamed to be associated with this institution. Hundreds of 1 star reviews for GW MFA over many years and yet zero improvements. Few businesses or institutions reach such bottom of the barrel levels of satisfaction. GW is just chasing easy money in a willful race to the bottom.

My experience here was not that bad. The wait was not long at all. The only thing I would recommend so far is that the front desk staff learn some office etiquette. There is a way to speak outside among your peers and a way to speak in a office setting. I listened to how they addressed patients of all ages and it just wasn’t pleasant to hear. But overall, not so bad of a visit. My nurse and doctor was polite. Update: Had to come back and drop this down to a 3 star unfortunately. The phlebotomist was very unwelcoming. When she came to draw my blood she did not speak or introduce herself nor did she give any eye contact. She sat at her computer for about 3 minutes and the only thing she said to me was “ what’s your name?” That’s it. She drew my blood in complete silence and just seemed irritated overall. I don’t understand people in the health care field. Some patients are already feeling low. To have to endure attitudes and unfriendlinesses is just another punch in the face. It cost you NOTHING to be kind to people. You may just make someone’s day with your kindness.

I went to this urgent care to be seen and was charged $220 for a walk-in price, which is insane. After one lab test that I was given I was later billed $910 from the lab. They knew I had no insurance and did not inform me of the lab price. I wouldn't recommend this location for other people to go, especially without insurance.

Yes, it is walk in urgent care.
You can walk in for urgent care
Yes, they do.
I believe you can do both.
Unfortunately no.they would recommend seeing your dentist. In the meantime I would recommend salt and water gargle and rinse.. I would use oral jel or oral pain relievers. Mortin or ibuprofen 800mg would be good to. Blessings and take care. Hope everything works out
I got an xray done of my foot before.
Most insurances will cover it, but it's not truly free if you're without (around $150 I think)
