I took Off Grid Armory's permit to carry class on 4/24/2002 and Sam and Caren did a great job. It was a renewal for me and they gave me new information and were spot on. I encourage anyone thinking about the class to take in at Off Grid.

Off Grid Armory is a great atmosphere. Excellent service, advice and education. I recently bought a firearm from them, just took their conceal carry class and I've watched almost all of Sam's Facebook videos. Very informative and fun. Sam , Caren and all the people at Off Grid are great at what they do. Veteran owned, responsible gun owners. Training for those with little to no experience. A range that offers for a multitude of rental shooting platforms. Experience with firearms and a HUGE selection of gear and guns. Locally based Minnesota company, fantastic people!!

We offer our class through zoom. You will have to physically come to Off Grid Armory to complete the range portion of the class, there’s no way around that, it’s MN law that you must complete the live fire portion to obtain a certificate. If you can do that, then you’d take your class certificate to any county sheriffs department in Minnesota and they will send your permit to carry card directly to you.

the standard range is about 40 yards but we also have 200, 250, and 650 yards from a sniper tower as well.
