Loved everything we ate. So so good. Server seemed a little tired and not willing to be help but perked up after a bit of kidding around....I believe anyways. Right off the beach! Crab cakes, fried tanker, a shrimp sampler x2 (don't remember name) 😂

I haven’t been to the Ocean Deck in so long! We stopped by after a day trip to Daytona today and it was just as it was years ago… truly iconic! The parking is awful but so is any spot in Daytona, so that’s the only complaint. Our party of six was warmly welcomed and served promptly. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable. After our meal, we went downstairs to the lower deck to have a drink before we hit the beach. They had no problems with us coming and going to the restrooms which was nice because the restrooms are kept very clean. If you’re ever in town, don’t miss this beach front oasis!

Cool place. Upstairs dining is quiet with view of ocean. Downstairs dining is loud and wild. Live music. Staff was fantastic, with all that was going on managed to get food and drink orders right. Food was delicious. Really fun place. If you're in the area , it's a must see!

It’s a popular restaurant similar to any other beach side restaurants. It opened a small portion of entire restaurant and the deck was closed. We went there for a lunch. The waitress prompted us to order a lot more than we needed and add more toppings so that we had bunch of leftovers to take back. We even couldn’t finish all leftovers as a dinner later in the evening. I don’t think it’s a good way to have more business or tips. The portion of appetizers is big, almost like a meal. The seafood is fresh. And drinks are OK. Generally speaking, it is not very impressive but it’s OK.

Most restaurants are only supposed to allow certified service animals due to health code regulations
Great band!
Yes it's on top of the bar and below the main dinning area.
The upstairs is more restaurant style and I believe you can do call ahead for large parties. The downstairs is more like an open air bar... Sit where you can find a spot. They serve drinks and food at both.
Sure is! Last year I think they had a deal on crab...its one of the only places open too!
No not really.Onlyfor the ground level Dinning room,,,The Tavern, bar,Band, dancing and smoking while dinning , as well as beach access is about 18 steps down
Ate there twice in two days when I was in Daytona for work. Great service. Really good people. Yummy food options like wasabi tuna wonton things. Yum. ... Very chill. Definitely recommend.
Thanks Ocean Deck for answering quickly. We we're on the deck below when there was a family. So I knew you didn't have an age preference during dinner hour's. You by far are one of the best seafood place's I have ever eaten. And I grew up in New England seaside...
In regards to the lower, open seating area, there are a limited number of tables. Pretty sure you are not going to be able to get 11 at any one and moving them around isn't likely. Just not much room on the outside deck.
I would say no, but there is a pretty stretch of beach behind it. Best to call the restaurant directly.
We had eight people in our party and they had to divide us into two tables...at least for inside seating...
They are careful but don't enforce masks . Like most restaurants and bars, people are eating and drinking. so masks might be worn part of the time. They have 2 good charming bouncers that don't put up with any mularky. There are tables there that are far enough apart. Sometimes all the doors and entrance to the beach are open. i feel comfortable but you have to be aware of idiots like anywhere. Place has a good vibe !
They only allow 6 per party, but you can split them into different tables.
10pm
We just usually hang down stairs and on the beach outside.
They are just a restaurant. But, just a heads up, rooms in Daytona Beach are expensive when there's an event, Nascar, etc. I hope it helped. 😀👍
Only service dogs, no pets or emotional support animals
Bay street has a fish sandwich place thats awesome for fried oyster poboy
There is parking right in the front otherwise there is vallet there
I was there on a Saturday and they had a live band. No karaoke
Thats not right they cant do that! Maybe he looked at the calamari and said no customer will have them tonight
The dj on the beach along with live bands etc is a seasonal thing. Not cost effective year round. Most places in the area no longer hire djs cause of the cost
It's called pre-authorization when you start a tab
Had just one the day I was there.
They look like KFC tenders to me.
Lol sign says no but im sure its kinda at your own risk type of thing but cant have it on the beach either so if you want to continue to have a good time...i would say no...have fun
