Aside from the parking fee, the walking experience on the pier is a good one. There should be a few more places to eat and hang out there. If you walk down by the bandshell there is usually an event or something else to do. Overall a decent experience.

Great place to walk along the beach 😍. First time visiting here and it was pretty awesome 👏. You can feel the breeze from the beach 🏖. The parking is not free but it’s pretty good deal for $1 per hour ( bring coins when you come since they only accept coin in the machine)

Not a whole lot going on here, a lot of the shops are closed down, but what really soured the experience was the fact that despite the city sign stain that you can have your dogs as long as they're leashed, the county sheriff came up to us while we were on the green, and told us to vacate or he would write me a ticket. The reason being is because according to the county you cannot have your dogs on the Daytona Beach Park. Regardless of what the city ordinance says. We were not on the beach, nor anywhere else besides the boardwalk area and the park. We didn't even go out to the pier. There were no complaints as far as I know, multiple people were coming over and petting my dogs with no problem, but this deputy with little man syndrome apparently had an issue with it.
