If only you could give negative stars. Been waiting 5 month for return. Taxes were done incorrectly, so amendment had to be done. Phone calls unanswered. Appointments where the JH employees didn't show up. It seems as if they are all temporary, poorly trained , and waiting around for the real associate to come fix their mess, but no one is coming

Ms. Zanthia and her associate were extremely professional and prompt. I recommend this office #18029 to all who need tax preparation and advice. With kindest regards, Marlon Glass

Disappointed with the service at the 11380 Beach Blvd location in Jax. I told Ms. Willis to itemize my deductions. I had all my documents. Ms. Willis didn't maximize my deductions but used the standard deduction because she was more concerned about the (1) constant stream of ppl coming in for tax prep service (2) when was the door going to be locked (3) and how late she had to work. Ms. Willis used the standard deduction incorrectly. My electronic return was submitted with an incorrect name. I called back when I saw the error to report it. I was told by the tax preparer to not to worry about it because I would receive a paper check. There wasn't an apology or concern about their error. Jackson Hewlett needs to implement a policy of allowing a review prior to submissions. If I was given the opportunity to review I would've caught the incorrect name. Even though all my docs had my full correct name on everything. I think Ms. Willis preoccupations with the lobby was distracting her. I paid $281.00 and I'm very disappointed with the service and results I received from this location. The only positive recommendation from Ms. Willis was her letting me know Turbo Tax is $80.00 vice $281.00. Next year I'll use Turbo Tax and won't procrastinate. Now I have to pay for an amendment!
