Had to have a document notarized, they refused because our new state IDs state “Not for REAL ID Act Purposes” . They told me the ID says that it is not real. I explained that it is a valid drivers license and that Act pertains to federal facilities. They repeated that the ID says it is not real. Not sure how two notaries are so oblivious to current ID laws.
