After checking in getting on the elevator. The elevator floor was dirty. I get to my floor, walking to my room it was hot and smelly in the hall way. This is July in TN. Once inside my room I noticed that the couch and chair hasn't been cleaned. It was hair all over the chair and couch. The floor wasn't vaccumed. There was trash and visible dust in the corners of the room . Skirt that was covering the Box spring was stained . I had asked for that to be replaced. Never was . Next time I will spend a few more dollars and stay across the street at the Avid.

I'm a choice diamond member and my staff booked a king suite with this Comfort Suite. When i arrived at the hotel the person at the front desk was so rude. And when I ask to see the Manger he informed me that he was the owner of the hotel and he would not honor my reservation. I called choice customer service and thankfully they found me another hotel. So travelers beware I would not book this hotel because you may or may not have a room when you arrive!!!! I will be following up with a business complaint with the city of Smyrna about the customer service with this owner!!!! This hotel needs to be removed from Choice's hotel website do to the bad customer service that members receive before a civil matter I'd bought up against this hotel and brand!!!

We walked in and the place looked nice and smelled clean. We got our room and slept extremely well. Our disgust was the shower. Mold on the cloth shower curtain. Not just little specks. Gross, gross, gross. Brought it to the desk clerk's attention at checkout. No offer to reduce the rate or anything but his apology. (He was very nice.) This is not the first Comfort Inn we have experienced problems. As a Choice Member, I expect more. The "no cancelation policy" should be deleted. Things come up. Life happens. But spending $450.00 on a place we will not be, is unacceptable even if it my mistake. I called and canceled with the front desk, no problem. Even with an email to the GM, (to which I got no response) I was not able to cancel the reservation deemed uncancellable.

This hotel looked like it had promise. It seems to have been recently updated but immediately upon entering the hotel the smell of chemicals was overwhelming. It seems as though they were spraying chemicals and/or bleach to portray that the hotel was clean but it was not. All floors were dirty and sticky (even in the elevators), all windows and mirrors hadn't been cleaned in awhile and the breakfast area had sticky dirty tables and trash no one was bothering to clean up. Our room was equally dirty. There was hair and stains on the sheets, the lock on the door was broken and it too was not cleaned well. We got new sheets from the front desk to change the beds ourselves and made the best of it wiping everything down with sanitizing wipes but we shouldn't have to do that. The person at the front desk said he was working alone but even so the hotel conditions were awful and not acceptable in our opinion. Breakfast was OK but difficult to eat with the terrible chemical smell in that area.
