Went today and had to take my 4 year old to the bathroom. The women's bathroom was horrible, smelt like a portypoty gone extremely wrong. Walking bridge was beautiful as always

It was very pretty and peaceful but I wish they would've had more LED lights.

Loved the placards where I could learn a bit more about the importance of the river and the surrounding resources, and enjoyed the scenic Bridge that frames the beautiful river, however there were a few less desirable things about the park. First, another good thing is a fully operational bathroom with running water, but be careful because you are sharing with a population of homeless. I have been visiting Kentucky for over a month now and this is my first run in with homeless. I thought the South may be immune to this problem, because I didn't experience this in Frankfort, Nashville, Cincinnati or several other medium sized cities. Still, I was not harassed or bothered by more than the trash and uneasy feeling, but I am sure that pales to how they feel. I have no ill feelings towards the homeless, just point it out.
