The restaurant was nice and clean, including the restrooms. The staff were very friendly, like family. The food was all good from my club to the burgers. They had good sides with fries, green beans, sweet baked potatoes, and mashed potatoes. We cleaned our plates. The portions were good, but we squeezed in dessert as well that were all delicious with Dutch apple, buttermilk, and chocolate caramel pie. 😋 I recommend this as a stop if local or passing through town. They had items for sale at front like local perserved fruits and honey. I also liked how they honored military and first responders.

The food was great. Our server, Danielle, was very nice and gracious. Jim had the 2 PC fried catfish and I had roast beef. Both meals were very good and there was ALOT of food for the money. Highly recommend going here.

Passing through after Loretta Lynn Ranch tour ..... We're heading home to Indiana, lookimg to southern cooking, stopped in, OMG it's delicious, big portions. Fried pickle spears 💕😋 Best chicken livers I've ever had, the sides/green beans seasoned with bacon. My husband had Cajun chicken, it was delicious as well. Coconut pie, 😊 We're heading home with leftovers. The staff was friendly, loved the decor inside, stop in, won't be disappointed.

If I remember correctly, they stop serving breakfast at 11:00 am. I was very disappointed because we arrived in plenty of time but by the time we were seated it was 11:05 and too late.

They are requiring masks upon entry and have glass separating the check out register. When seating they are very good at spacing patrons. All staff are wearing masks and thoroughly wiping tables and surfaces. They're doing a good job. Great food too! Try the fried chicken tender salad.
It's one of the many different southern recipes, maybe but I'm pretty sure that's why. I've seen people add a lot of butter to help tone it down and I've seen other's add water. Maybe next time the cook won't add as much or you can try what I've seen other's try. Bon appetit
