The bathroom was so gross. None of the doors shut or lock. At least there was toilet paper. The shower area is a shower head on a pole outside. These are just to rinse off. Not to bathe type of showers. The beach part was fine and had life guards. There were tons of sand fleas or gnats. The water was nice though. Oh and they have food trucks for snacks.

My new favorite beach on the gulf. Beautiful waters that aren’t quite as blue as Pensacola but are beautiful all the same. Nice waves, amazing sand and it wasn’t near as crowded and difficult to navigate due to business as places like Pensacola. Will be coming as often as I can from ponchatoula LA.

Lovely beach. Very beachy. Sand here was perfect and we enjoyed building sand castles, finding sea shells, and wading into the waves. Loved it.

Cotton Bayou was our choice for public beach access the entire time we were on vacation in Orange Beach. We always found a parking spot and never had any trouble finding an area to set up our canopy on the beach. Having a restroom close by and shower to rinse off at the end of the day made the location perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our beach days here!

Alabama allegedly has a $500 fine for taking a dog onto a gulf beach. There are two legal, official dog beaches: one is on Lake Shelby, at the dog park near the new Gulf State Park Hotel and Convention Center. The other is east down Perdido Key near Lost Key, a very small dog park on the Intercoastal Waterway.
Yes at Gulf state park
We had a cooler with drinks with us. Went 3 days straight and never bothered. Saw other people there with alcohol.
No chair rentals, but it is a beautiful beach with great facilities and Surf Rescue lifeguards.
You can see well enough too snorkel.
In Orange Beach Alabama! Can't miss it right next to the water of the gulf.
There are parking pay stations. For 2 hours its $3, 4 hours is $5, and all day is $10.
There were several canopies this past weekend. The beach patrol went right past them without hesitation. Perhaps there were set up in the appropriate "zone".
It looked to have boat ramps but since i didn't have a boat...i didn't inquire!
