The location and the pool are the only things worthwhile at this place. Front office is not at all good with communication: multiple unanswered emails and promises of returned calls that never happened which is extremely frustrating. Moved into an apartment with broken screens on multiple windows (that don’t lock), asked them to fix it and they replaced with more broken screens?? Make you pay a mandatory $25 for trash service that consistently misses actually picking up the trash (no opt out option either). The “upgrades” are cheap and gross, not at all worth the price they ask for, especially when pipes burst for no reason and the AC unit broke multiple times. I knew multiple residents breaking leases bc they could not fathom living here. Lived here for a year and was so relieved to finally leave (until they hit me with a $150 cleaning fee that was never mentioned even when I had to be the one to check in with them multiple times about move out procedure, bc as I said earlier they don’t bother to communicate with you). I lived in apartments for years and will never recommend this place to anyone as it is an endless money wasting pit with no accountability.

NEVER move in here. This place is way over priced and it’s falling apart. A friend of mine had mold all over her apartment. My neighbor broke her lease early because she couldn’t handle living there in the conditions she’s living in for how much she was paying. My AC unit broke all the time, and the first month I was living there, a pipe broke and flooded my apartment. The apartment screens were broken and would not be fixed after multiple maintenance orders and the pests were unmanageable. The office also will not remind you to put in a move out notice. As soon as you miss your move out notice, they’ll charge you thousands of dollars to break a lease you never wanted in the first place. The office does not communicate. Never expect a call back. This place is not worth the headache. Move on. Also, if you love walls that are so paper thin that you can hear your neighbors pee stream, this is the place for you.

I currently live in this complex and although I love the staff and the property, their trash Vallet service ruins the pleasant experience of living in this complex. The Carroll organization should change the trash company they have a contract with, or give tenants a choice. The tenants are forced to pay a monthly $25+ fee, without being able to opt out, for a service that misses picking up the trash twice per week, if they come to pick up at all. I don’t mind taking my own trash out (which I have been doing) but I do mind to be forced to pay $25 for a service that is not being delivered. It’s been 1 year that my trash doesn’t get picked up 80% of the time but yet I have been paying for it. There are penalties ($150) if we are late on rent, but where is the compensation when the service we are paying for, is not being provided? I feel bad for the staff that is constantly getting complaints from the tenants regarding this issue. Carroll organization needs to fix this and make amends with the tenants.
